With father’s day right around the corner, we’ve been busy working on some father’s day crafts for my hubby! Today’s craft was inspired by the classic children’s toys, “Weeble Wobbles”. Take a look!

Perfect Father's Day craft! Make an egg carton Weeble Wobble that looks just like dad!

It was after playing with my 8 month old, that I came up with today’s craft. She has a couple of small weeble wobbles that she loves to hold, bite, and watch spin across the floor as her older sister launches them. Weeble Wobbles are one of those classic childhood toys that never get old, much like jump ropes, bubbles, and hula hoops!

I thought it would be fun to make a mini Weeble Wobble that looks like my husband for father’s day! Since we often make crafts using recycled materials, like this caterpillar, duck, or even reindeer sleigh, we took apart an old egg carton and got to work!

Here’s how we made this handsome little man!

Items Needed:
Egg carton

Tape

Paint

Construction Paper

Glue

What to do:

When dry, glue a strip of construction paper over the seam, all the way around. Draw on eyes and mouth using a marker. Add a tie, fishing pole, etc.

That’s it!

Will you be making any father’s day crafts this year?

I love meeting my readers! So let’s connect on Pinterest, Facebook, or Instagram!
